Brent Crude Breaks $70 Mark for First Time Since April

BAKU — The price of Brent crude oil for September 2025 delivery climbed above $70 per barrel on the London ICE exchange for the first time since April 30, signaling renewed momentum in global energy markets.

According to market data at 19:25 local time (Baku), Brent was up 0.65%, trading at $70.05 per barrel. Just five minutes later, at 19:30, the rally slightly slowed, with Brent priced at $70.03 (+0.62%).

Meanwhile, WTI crude futures for August delivery also gained traction, rising 0.9% to $68.24 per barrel.

Analysts say the price uptick reflects shifting market expectations around demand, supply constraints, and broader geopolitical trends.
