Among the headliners are renowned directors and choreographers Robert Lepage, Sharon Eyal, Jan Lypiń, Guillaume Côté, Rimas Tuminas, Daniele Finzi Pasca, as well as Israel’s celebrated Gesher Theatre.

Performances will take place at Baku’s leading venues: the Muslim Magomayev State Philharmonic Hall, the National Drama Theatre, and the State Musical Theatre.

Organizers envision BIAF as an annual event inspired by the world’s most prestigious festivals, designed to position Baku as a new crossroads of artistic dialogue and international cooperation.

“Baku has always been where East meets West,” the organizers note.

“As it once was a vital node of the Silk Road, today it continues to unite cultures, and BIAF 2025 will symbolize that spirit of connection.”

Festivalgoers can expect not just concerts and plays, but an immersive cultural journey for both seasoned art lovers and newcomers alike.
