Baku to Host International Film Festival Welcoming 3,000 Guests from Around the World

BAKU, August 18, 2025 — The Azerbaijani capital will soon turn into a hub for global cinema as it prepares to host the Baku Cinema Breeze International Film Festival from October 6–12, 2025, as part of the “Baku Creative Week.”

Supported by the Ministry of Culture and the Azerbaijan Film Agency, and organized in partnership with the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), the festival is expected to draw around 3,000 participants — including filmmakers, producers, critics, and cinema enthusiasts from Azerbaijan and abroad.

According to the Ministry of Culture, the event will serve as a major platform for creative dialogue, co-production opportunities, and international cooperation, strengthening Azerbaijan’s position as a rising cultural hub in the region.
