BAKU, August 4, 2025 — Ticket prices for AZAL’s Baku–Tbilisi–Baku route have climbed sharply, with business class fares now reaching up to 1,282 manats (over $750), according to social media posts shared by travelers.
Passengers report that return business class tickets from Tbilisi to Baku now exceed 1,000 manats, while economy class seats are largely unavailable.
Tourism expert Rahman Guliyev told Xəzər TV that AZAL operates 4–5 flights daily to Georgia, with high passenger demand driving the surge. He added that prices are likely to drop during the non-tourist season.
