Foreign investment in Azerbaijan’s fixed capital reached 2.62 billion manats from January to August, a 37.9 percent jump compared with the same period in 2024, according to the State Statistics Committee.
Of that amount, 2.55 billion manats—or 97.4 percent—came from investors in the United Kingdom, United Arab Emirates, Turkey, Russia, the United States, Switzerland, Japan, Iran, Hungary, France, and India, Report informs.
By contrast, total investment in Azerbaijan’s economy edged down 0.2 percent year-on-year, standing at 11.37 billion manats in the first eight months of 2025.
