Azerbaijan does not see any threats or risks to the region in the TRIPP project, Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov said, commenting on statements by officials in Russia and Iran.
Bayramov noted that the TRIPP project is being implemented exclusively on Armenian territory with the participation of the United States and the Armenian side.

“Therefore, questions regarding this project should primarily be addressed to Armenia. This is Armenia’s own matter,” he said, adding that Azerbaijan views TRIPP as a connectivity project.
The foreign minister said Azerbaijan had conveyed its legitimate expectations and interests to the U.S. side in advance and expressed confidence that they would be taken into account.
