Inflation in Baku approached 7% in the first half of 2025, according to official data.
From January to July, the city’s consumer price index rose by 6.9% year-on-year. Prices for food, beverages, and tobacco increased by 6%, while non-food goods rose by 5.3%, APA reports.\. Paid services for the population jumped 9.5% compared to the same period last year.

For the first six months of 2025, the average annual inflation rate in Baku stood at 7%, the State Statistics Committee reported. Nationwide, Azerbaijan’s consumer price index increased by 5.8% during the same period.
