As part of the “Clean Air” month-long initiative, the Baku City State Traffic Police Department and the Ministry of Ecology conducted another environmental raid, avtosfer.az reports.

During the inspection, officers stopped a Ferrari valued at 850,000 manats (about $500,000) with license plate 10-SY-100. The supercar exceeded permitted carbon monoxide emission levels, resulting in a 50-manat fine for the driver.

Behind the wheel was Miryagub Seidov, son of Mirkhafiz Seidov, who appeared three years ago in a criminal case involving the embezzlement of 600,000 manats. The investigation also revealed that the Seidov family owns a large luxury car collection, favoring plates with the letters “OO”. Their fleet reportedly includes high-end models such as Ferrari, Lamborghini and Porsche.

Witnesses noted that after the violation was confirmed, Miryagub Seidov attempted to avoid journalists, quickly leaving the inspection site in his Ferrari.
