Azerbaijan’s largest mobile operator, Azercell, has announced higher service fees for several credit-based mobile services, with the changes set to take effect on January 13, 2026.
According to the company’s official statement, the revised pricing applies to Simkredit and related services and is intended to improve service quality and optimize the regulation of tariffs offered to customers.
Under the new rules, users will be charged:
0.30 AZN for a 1 AZN Simkredit,
0.60 AZN for a 2 AZN Simkredit,
0.60 AZN for the 2 AZN Simtaksit service.
In addition, a 0.12 AZN fee will be applied to each request made within the Simkredit and Simtaksit framework, including extra credit and mobile internet credit services.
The new pricing represents a noticeable increase compared to previous rates. Previously, service fees stood at 0.20 AZN for a 1 AZN credit, 0.40 AZN for a 2 AZN credit, and 0.60 AZN for a 3 AZN credit – meaning some charges have risen by up to 50%.
Azercell stated that the changes aim to ensure the sustainable development of its services and to further enhance customer satisfaction.
