As part of its digital transformation strategy, Azercell has officially joined the Amazon Partner Network (APN), obtaining the corresponding certification and strengthening its collaboration with Amazon Web Services (AWS).
At a meeting held today with representatives from both Azercell and AWS, participants discussed ways to expand cooperation and identify new areas of development. The talks focused on advancing local artificial intelligence solutions, infrastructure projects, and technologies such as AWS Direct Connect, a dedicated network connection service designed to enhance speed and reliability.
Amazon reaffirmed its commitment to supporting digital transformation processes, fostering market innovation, and engaging new partners in the region. Discussions also emphasized cybersecurity, training qualified IT professionals, empowering women in the ICT sector, and implementing Azerbaijan’s national AI strategy.
Special sessions were organized on cybersecurity, artificial intelligence strategy, and emerging technologies – key themes that underscore the growing importance of this partnership in strengthening the country’s national digital ecosystem.
