BAKU, August 30 — The Marketing and Economic Operations Department of the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) has once again taken the lead among state enterprises in non-oil and gas exports, posting an impressive $244.2 million in revenues between January and July 2025.
The data was published in the August edition of the Export Review by the Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communication.
Ranking of State Exporters
According to the report, SOCAR is followed by:
SOCAR Polymer (57% subsidiary) — $157.9 million, a 14.2% increase year-on-year;
AzerGold CJSC — $125.1 million;
Azeraluminium LLC — $76.7 million;
SOCAR Gas Export Department — $37 million;
Azərpambıq Agro-Industrial Complex LLC — $23.9 million;
SOCAR-Dalgic LLC — $1.9 million;
Azerbaijan Railways CJSC — $1.5 million;
State Energy Service of Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic — $594,400;
Istisu Mineral Water Plant LLC — $562,400.
SOCAR’s Marketing and Economic Operations Department increased non-oil exports by $13.2 million, or 5.7%, compared to the same period in 2024.
Overall Growth
Azerbaijan’s overall non-oil exports also showed strong performance, rising by 11.4% in the first seven months of 2025 compared to a year earlier, and reaching $2.1 billion.
