Azerbaijan conducted $40.862 billion worth of foreign trade operations between January and October 2025, marking a 3.8% increase compared to the same period last year, according to data from the State Customs Committee.
The structure of trade turnover is as follows:

Despite the overall growth in trade volume, exports declined by 4.9%, while imports rose by 15.6% year-on-year.
As a result, Azerbaijan recorded a positive trade balance of $2.412 billion, which is 2.5 times lower than during the same period in 2024.
The figures highlight shifting dynamics in the country’s external trade structure: stable but declining export revenues amid rising import demand.
