BAKU, July 24
Azerbaijan’s Minister of Economy, Mikayil Jabbarov, held a meeting with Anna Bordon, head of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) mission for Azerbaijan, the Middle East, and Central Asia.
Jabbarov announced the meeting on his official account on the social platform X, highlighting the importance of collaboration with international financial institutions to support Azerbaijan’s sustainable economic development model.
“We welcomed the strengthening of cooperation with the IMF. During our meeting, we discussed key priorities for joint work, Azerbaijan’s macroeconomic indicators and forecasts, economic diversification, and ongoing tax reforms,” the minister noted.
