Azerbaijani Wrestler Wins Gold at U-23 World Championships in Serbia

Azerbaijani Greco-Roman wrestler Ziya Babashov has won the gold medal at the U-23 World Championships held in Novi Sad, Serbia.

According to Report, Babashov, competing in the 63 kg weight category, defeated Moldova’s Vitalie Eremenko in the final with a score of 6–3.

Another Azerbaijani Greco-Roman wrestler, Elmir Aliyev (55 kg), also advanced to the final round of his category.
