Authorities in Italy are searching for Sona Guliyeva, an Azerbaijani woman who went missing in Rome shortly after arriving in the Italian capital six days ago.
Guliyeva, described as being about 165 cm tall, weighing around 50 kilograms, and of slender build, flew from Baku to Rome on November 3.

Upon landing, she posted a short video from the airport with the caption “I’ve arrived in Rome.” That was the last time anyone heard from her.
Since then, Guliyeva has not responded to calls or messages, and her phone is now switched off. Sources indicate that she was traveling for tourism purposes and had a significant amount of cash and a mobile phone with her.
The Embassy of Azerbaijan in Italy has been notified of her disappearance, and efforts are underway to locate her. Italian police are reportedly cooperating with Azerbaijani diplomatic officials in the ongoing search.
