Azerbaijan has strengthened its position in the UEFA rankings, climbing to 28th place after this week’s European club matches—overtaking Russia in the process.
Following the second-leg matches of the UEFA second qualifying round, Azerbaijan’s coefficient has reached 18.750. Ukraine holds 27th place with 19.225, while Russia has slipped to 29th with 18.299.

Azerbaijan’s clubs have earned a coefficient of 1.625 so far this season. Notably, three out of four Azerbaijani teams advanced to the next round: Qarabağ, Sabah, and Araz-Nakhchivan.
