Baku, July 14 — Azerbaijani boxer Abbasgulu Shadlinsky claimed a gold medal at an international boxing tournament held in Braga, Portugal, according to the Azerbaijan Boxing Federation.
Representing the national team, Shadlinsky delivered a strong performance throughout the competition. In the semifinals, he defeated Portugal’s Francisco Silva, securing his place in the final.
There, the Azerbaijani athlete faced Hassan Jamshiri of Bahrain and emerged victorious, earning the championship title and bringing home the gold.
