Azerbaijani track and field athlete Nazim Babayev secured a bronze medal at the 34th Gusman Kosanov Memorial athletics tournament held in Almaty, Kazakhstan.
According to Report, Babayev finished third in the long jump, registering a result of 7.48 meters on the opening day of the competition.

The event, part of the World Athletics Continental Tour, features over 150 athletes from 15 different countries.
Babayev is also scheduled to compete in the triple jump tomorrow, where he will aim to add to his medal tally.
