Azerbaijan is moving to open a new embassy in the Kingdom of Bahrain, according to the Milli Majlis.
The proposal is on the agenda of the parliamentary committee on international relations and interparliamentary ties, scheduled to meet on September 10. Lawmakers will review the draft law “On Establishing the Embassy of the Republic of Azerbaijan in the Kingdom of Bahrain (Manama).”
The embassy would be Azerbaijan’s first permanent diplomatic mission in Bahrain, underscoring Baku’s broader efforts to strengthen ties with Gulf states.
The committee will consider a total of eight items during the upcoming session.
