Azerbaijan has based its 2026 state and consolidated budget drafts on an oil price of $65 per barrel for its flagship Azeri Light crude, the Finance Ministry announced.
The figure is $5 lower than the benchmark used for the 2025 budget. Officials say the conservative adjustment reflects global market volatility and aims to ensure stability in fiscal planning.
