Skopje, North Macedonia — July 22–26
Twelve young judokas will represent Azerbaijan at the 18th European Youth Olympic Festival (EYOF), set to take place in Skopje, the capital of North Macedonia.
The national judo team includes six boys and six girls, competing across 12 weight categories. The Azerbaijani lineup features:
Girls: Gulshan Huseynova (44kg), Nurana Hajizade (48kg), Aysun Mammadova (52kg), Samaya Yusifli (57kg), Ayan Aliyeva (63kg), and Zemfira Aliyeva (+70kg)

On the final day of the tournament, the Azerbaijani team will also compete in the mixed team event, a highlight of the judo competition.
The team is led by head coaches Emin Iskenderov and Elnur Ismayilov.
This year’s judo competition will feature a total of 341 athletes — 184 boys and 157 girls — from 44 countries, showcasing some of the most promising young talent in European judo.
