BAKU, Aug 12 — Average monthly nominal wages in Azerbaijan rose 9.4% year-on-year in January–June 2025 to 1,097.3 manats ($645), according to the State Statistics Committee.
The mining industry, finance, IT, professional services, and transport were among the highest-paying sectors.
As of July 1, the country had 1.77 million salaried employees — 864,200 in the public sector and 906,600 in the private sector.
Trade, education, and industry accounted for the largest shares of employment, followed by healthcare, construction, and public administration.
