Azerbaijan’s machinery and vehicle manufacturing sector recorded a notable downturn in the first ten months of 2025, according to official statistics.
Between January and October, the production of machinery, automotive equipment, trailers, and semi-trailers totaled 506.1 million manats. However, output fell by 1.2% year-on-year in machinery and equipment, while production of cars, trailers, and semi-trailers dropped sharply by 22.5%.
During the reporting period, Azerbaijan produced 3,280 passenger cars, a decrease of 1,153 units compared with the same period last year.
Tractor production also declined, falling by 13.7%, while the output of trucks contracted even more severely – by 31.6%.
Other industrial output included 8,718 pumps (of which 4,978 were rod deep pumps), as well as 3.5 tons of cranes, caps, and valves. In total, 427 tractors and 273 trucks were manufactured over the ten-month period.
