Azerbaijan Ranks Among the Top Five Freestyle Wrestling Teams in the World

The portal Flowrestling has published the updated ranking of national freestyle wrestling teams, in which Azerbaijan’s team has firmly secured a spot in the top five, accumulating 65 points.

Russia continues to lead the world rankings, followed by Iran in second place. Japan rounds out the top three.

The United States holds the fourth position, surpassing Azerbaijan by 38 points.

It’s worth noting that during the recent Paris Olympic Games, Azerbaijan’s freestyle wrestlers won two bronze medals.

3. Japan – 107 points

4. United States – 103 points

5. Azerbaijan – 65 points

6. Albania – 55 points

7. Kazakhstan – 53 points

8. Georgia – 48 points

9. Kyrgyzstan – 40 points
