Azerbaijan has granted Ukraine 100 additional permits for international cargo transportation, raising the country’s baseline quota by about 20 percent, according to Ukrainian officials.
Deputy Minister of Community and Territorial Development Serhiy Derkach announced the decision on Facebook, noting that the extra permits cover freight transport to and from third countries.
Bosnia and Herzegovina also expanded its support, issuing 300 additional permits for bilateral, transit, and international transport – doubling its original quota by 100 percent.
“The new quotas will allow Ukrainian companies to carry out more trips, establish sustainable logistics routes, and expand business opportunities,” Derkach said.
He added that the permits are now being transferred and will soon be available to carriers through Ukraine’s Ukrtransbezpeka agency.
