Azerbaijan increased crude oil supplies to several key European markets between January and October 2025, according to new data released by the State Customs Committee.
Exports to Germany: Volume Up, Revenue Down
Azerbaijan exported 956,716.48 tonnes of crude oil to Germany worth $502.0 million during the 10-month period.
Volume increased by 9.3% compared to the same period in 2024

Exports to Ireland Surge
Crude oil exports to Ireland rose sharply, reaching 410,729.87 tonnes valued at $214.8 million.
Compared to January-October 2024:
Volume increased 2.3 times
Value increased 1.9 times
Ireland’s share of Azerbaijan’s total crude exports stood at 1.98%
Strong Growth in Exports to Romania
Azerbaijan also exported 869,568.72 tonnes of crude oil to Romania worth $475.9 million during the same period.
Volume growth: 48.5%
Value growth: 35.7%
Romania’s share of Azerbaijan’s total oil exports reached 4.19%
Overall Oil Exports
According to customs declarations, Azerbaijan exported a total of 20,754,593.06 tonnes of crude oil and bitumen-derived petroleum products worth $10.85 billion in January-October 2025.
Europe remains a major destination for Azerbaijani crude, as Baku continues to diversify its export partners and expand energy cooperation across the continent.
