Azerbaijan continues to provide comprehensive support to veterans with disabilities in the areas of education and career development, the chairperson of the State Examination Center (SEC), Maleyka Abbaszade, said during an event dedicated to Victory Day, Report informed.
According to Abbaszade, the state offers both moral and practical assistance to the families of martyrs (shehids) and veterans who defended the country’s territorial integrity.

“We assist them in obtaining education, planning future careers, and achieving personal development,” she said.
“Veterans with varying degrees of disability receive special benefits to help them advance in their educational and professional paths. Children of martyrs and veterans are provided with free study materials and opportunities to participate in trial exams at no cost.”
The SEC chair added that, under the current program, 22 veterans have already been admitted to higher and specialized secondary educational institutions, while eight others are attending preparatory courses to continue their studies.
