Azerbaijan is set to experience peak summer temperatures between July 12 and 15, according to the National Hydrometeorological Service under the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources.
Forecasters warn that temperatures in Baku and across the Absheron Peninsula will soar to 35–39°C. Similar conditions are expected in the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic and central lowland (Aran) regions, where the mercury could climb to 41°C in some areas. In mountainous regions, highs are projected between 27–32°C.
Authorities urge residents to take precautions during peak heat hours, stay hydrated, and limit outdoor activity where possible.
