The Law on Combating the Legalization of Criminally Obtained Property and the Financing of Terrorism defines such property broadly, covering funds, movable and immovable assets, and digital holdings — including cryptocurrency.

In line with this legislation, the cryptocurrency belonging to suspects B.H.R. and others detained by the SSS was frozen as part of the investigation. The court’s decision has been forwarded to international virtual asset service providers for enforcement.
