Azerbaijani and Armenian parliamentary delegations held a bilateral meeting on the sidelines of the 23rd Autumn Session of the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly in Istanbul, the press service of the Milli Majlis reported.
The meeting followed the agreement reached during talks between the speakers of the two parliaments on October 21 in Geneva.
According to the statement, both sides highlighted the positive impact of the Washington Summit, exchanging views on progress achieved so far, next steps toward strengthening peace between Azerbaijan and Armenia, and the importance of parliamentary support for this process.
Participants also discussed the role of legislatures in advancing confidence-building measures, stressing the need for sustained, constructive dialogue between MPs within international organizations.
