The 12th meeting of the State Commission on the Delimitation of the State Border between Azerbaijan and Armenia took place today in the Azerbaijani city of Gabala.

The session was chaired by Azerbaijan’s Deputy Prime Minister Shahin Mustafayev and Armenia’s Deputy Prime Minister Mher Grigoryan.

According to Report.az, both sides reviewed progress made since the previous round of talks on January 16, when the two countries agreed to begin the full cycle of delimitation work starting from the northern section of the border – at the tripoint of Azerbaijan, Armenia and Georgia – and continuing southward toward the point where the Armenian–Azerbaijani border meets Iran.
