Azerbaijan and Armenia Request Closure of OSCE Minsk Process

Baku, August 8 – The foreign ministers of Azerbaijan and Armenia have signed a joint appeal to the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE) requesting the closure of the Minsk process and all related OSCE structures.

The move was formalized in the Joint Declaration adopted following the meeting between the President of Azerbaijan and the Prime Minister of Armenia in Washington.

“We call on all OSCE participating states to support this decision,” the declaration stated.
