Armenia and U.S. Move Ahead on TRIPP Peace Corridor Plan

Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan and U.S. Under Secretary of State for Political Affairs Elizabeth (Alison) Hooker discussed preparations for the implementation of the “Trump Route for International Peace and Prosperity” (TRIPP) project.

The meeting, announced by Armenia’s Foreign Ministry, focused on advancing agreements reached between the leaders of Armenia and Azerbaijan during talks in Washington on August 8.

According to the ministry, both sides noted progress made since the August meeting and exchanged views on the next steps required to move the TRIPP initiative forward.

The officials also reviewed broader issues of the Armenia–U.S. strategic partnership, stressing their readiness to deepen cooperation in areas of mutual interest.

Mirzoyan highlighted what he described as a “dynamic political dialogue” with Washington, aimed at expanding the bilateral agenda, adding new substance to the strategic partnership, and supporting the United States’ continued engagement in efforts to consolidate the emerging peace in the region.
