Linz, August 31, 2025 – Azerbaijan’s Araz-Nakhchivan have booked their place in the main round of the UEFA Futsal Champions League after a commanding performance in the preliminary stage.
In their final Group F match, the Nakhchivan side thrashed Austrian champions Luti Kraishnici 12–3 at the NMS Sports Hall in Linz.
Earlier in the tournament, the team coached by Yevgeniy Kuksevich had already showcased their dominance, defeating Sparta Belfast (Northern Ireland) 9–1 and overcoming Scotland’s PYF Saltires 7–2.
With three emphatic victories, Araz-Nakhchivan topped their group and secured automatic qualification to the Champions League’s main round.
The next stage of the competition will take place between October 26 and November 2, bringing together Europe’s leading futsal clubs.
