Baku — September 4, 2025
With the end of the holy month of Muharram, Baku has entered a full-scale wedding season. Demand for banquet halls and restaurants has surged, turning the capital’s hospitality sector into one of the city’s busiest industries this month.
Most major venues have already reported full bookings, telling Khazar TV that nearly all available dates through late September are taken. Many establishments are also receiving reservations for October, November, and even December, as couples rush to secure their spot.
Interestingly, despite the boom, most venues have not yet raised their fees. Still, some restaurant managers warn that price adjustments could come soon, given the rising costs of food products across the country.
