EU Appoints New Ambassador to Azerbaijan

BAKU, August 30 — The European Union has appointed a new ambassador to Azerbaijan as part of its latest round of diplomatic postings.

According to the EU’s official announcement, High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Kaja Kallas confirmed that Marijana Kujundžić will serve as the Union’s new envoy in Baku.

Kujundžić, a Croatian diplomat, currently represents her country on the EU’s Political and Security Committee. She has previously served in several key positions, including as an adviser at Croatia’s Permanent Representation to the EU.
