August 24, 2025 – Kyiv – Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has expressed gratitude to Azerbaijan for its support during the ongoing war with Russia.
In a post on X, Zelensky highlighted the message of congratulations from Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev on the occasion of Ukraine’s Independence Day, calling it a sign of mutual respect and solidarity.
“Dear President, Ukraine and Azerbaijan have always supported each other’s sovereignty and territorial integrity. We are sincerely grateful to our friend Azerbaijan for humanitarian and other assistance. We look forward to further strengthening our strategic partnership for the benefit of our peoples,” Zelensky wrote.
