From January to July this year, Azerbaijan refunded foreign citizens and stateless persons a total of 5.874 million manats in value-added tax (VAT).
According to the Ministry of Finance, the refunds covered VAT paid on goods purchased in the country that were not intended for industrial or commercial use, as well as on medical services provided by healthcare institutions and private practitioners.
