AZAL and Gulf Air Sign Codeshare Deal to Expand Travel Options

Azerbaijan Airlines (AZAL), part of AZCON Holding, and Gulf Air, the national carrier of the Kingdom of Bahrain, have signed a codeshare agreement aimed at expanding route networks and providing passengers with more travel options.

According to AZAL’s press service, the partnership will boost both tourism and business travel, further strengthening commercial, cultural, and economic ties between the two countries.

Under the agreement, passengers will benefit from an extended network of destinations, with the convenience of booking a single ticket and checking baggage through to their final destination.

“This agreement marks an important milestone in expanding AZAL’s global route network. Partnering with Gulf Air — a recognized carrier in the Middle East — allows us to offer passengers more convenient travel options while reinforcing the strategic ties between Azerbaijan and Bahrain,” said AZAL’s Commercial Director Jamil Manizade.
