Yerevan – Moscow, August 11 – Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov held a phone conversation with his Armenian counterpart Ararat Mirzoyan to discuss the recent high-level meeting in Washington between the leaders of Armenia, Azerbaijan, and the United States, Russian media reported, citing the Foreign Ministry.
According to the statement, Lavrov stressed the importance of achieving a sustainable peace between Yerevan and Baku “in line with the trilateral agreements” previously reached.
“Moscow remains ready to assist in the comprehensive normalization of relations between Azerbaijan and Armenia,” the Russian Foreign Ministry said.
