Baku, August 11 – The prestigious Fujairah Global 2025 international chess tournament, boasting a prize pool of $125,000, will be held in the UAE from August 25 to September 1.
Azerbaijan will be represented by some of its top talents. In the elite Superstars category, Aydın Suleymanli and Magomed Muradli will face off against some of the biggest names in world chess.
In the Masters category, Riad Samedov, Khagan Ahmed, and Shiroglan Talibov will defend the country’s honor, while the Open category will feature Lala Guseynova, Magomed Bagirov, and Yashar Shirinov.
