Azerbaijan’s non-oil and gas exports reached $2.1 billion in January–July 2025, marking an 11.4% increase compared to the same period last year, the Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communication reported.
Food exports rose 23.9% to $689 million. Chemical industry exports grew by $45.2 million (30.4%), sugar exports by $10.9 million (55.1%), ferrous metals and related products by $8.6 million (19.1%), fruits and vegetables by $122.6 million (31.9%), cotton yarn by $2.6 million (18.2%), and tea by $317,000 (8.8%).
Agricultural exports rose 27.9% to $551.4 million, while agro-industrial product exports grew 7.3% to $178.8 million. In total, the agricultural sector exported $730.2 million worth of goods — up 22.1% year-on-year.
