Stray Dog Pack Harasses Visitors at Baku’s “Lovers’ Park”

Baku, August 8 – Residents in Baku’s Khatai district say a pack of stray dogs has taken over the area known as “Lovers’ Park,” leaving visitors fearful and avoiding the space.

According to reports received by Baku.ws, a group of seven to eight dogs roams freely in the park and has on several occasions attacked both children and adults.

“None of the authorities respond to our complaints. We can’t use the park or the surrounding area because we’re afraid of the dogs,” one local resident said.

Footage from the scene shows the animals moving unchallenged through the park, which residents say has effectively been surrendered to them.
