Baku, August 7 – A total of 54,984 borrowers in Azerbaijan have received mortgage loans amounting to 3.568 billion AZN through the Mortgage and Credit Guarantee Fund, according to Modern.az.
In addition, the volume of loans backed by state guarantees and subsidies has reached 581 million AZN.
The Fund has also facilitated the purchase of 7,751 residential properties through rent-to-own mechanisms.

Established in late 2017, the Mortgage and Credit Guarantee Fund was formed through the merger of the Azerbaijan Mortgage Fund and the Credit Guarantee Fund, and now serves as their legal successor.
