BAKU, August 6, 2025 — Flight TKJ-178 from Baku to Istanbul (Sabiha Gökçen Airport, SAW), operated by Turkish budget carrier AJET, was cancelled today due to a technical malfunction, airport officials confirmed.
As a safety precaution, all passengers were deboarded and returned to the terminal. The airline has since begun accommodation procedures, placing affected travelers in nearby hotels while alternative arrangements are made.
According to preliminary information, the rescheduled flight is expected to depart on August 7, 2025.
