Aghdam-based football club Qarabağ FK has announced the signing of Spanish attacking midfielder Jonatan Montiel.
According to the club’s official website, the 26-year-old joins Qarabağ as a free agent after his contract with Rayo Vallecano expired on July 1.
Montiel has previously played for several Spanish clubs and represented Spain at the youth level, featuring for the national U-17, U-18, and U-19 teams. His addition strengthens Qarabağ’s midfield ahead of the new season.
