Azerbaijani football club Karvan-Yevlakh, newly promoted to the Misli Premier League, has strengthened its squad with the signing of Dutch right-back Shakil Sno, the club’s press office announced.
The 29-year-old defender, a product of the Ajax youth academy, has signed a one-year contract. Before joining Karvan-Yevlakh, Sno played for Gżira United in Malta.
Throughout his career, Sno has built an extensive international résumé, having featured for clubs such as Telstar (Netherlands), Aalesund (Norway), Lokomotiv Plovdiv (Bulgaria), and Romanian sides Botoșani and Mioveni.
Karvan-Yevlakh’s latest addition is part of the club’s broader effort to build a competitive squad ahead of its debut in Azerbaijan’s top-tier football league.
