BAKU, Aug 01 — The State Oil Company of Azerbaijan Republic (SOCAR) continues to lead the country’s non-oil exports among state-owned enterprises, with its Marketing and Economic Operations Department exporting $211.6 million worth of goods in the first half of 2025.
The data, published in the July edition of the “Export Review” by the Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communication, highlights the top 10 state enterprises contributing to Azerbaijan’s export diversification.

SOCAR Marketing & Economic Operations Department – $211.6 million
SOCAR Polymer LLC – $129 million
AzerGold CJSC – $100.3 million
Azeraluminium LLC – $67 million
SOCAR Gas Export Department – $34.5 million
Azərpambıq Agrarian Industrial Complex LLC – $19.4 million
SOCAR-Dalğıc LLC – $1.9 million
Azerbaijan Railways CJSC – $1.5 million
Istisu Mineral Water Plant LLC – $562,400
State Energy Service of Nakhchivan AR – $423,100
The report underscores SOCAR’s central role not only in the oil and gas industry but also in Azerbaijan’s broader non-oil export strategy, as the country ramps up efforts to diversify its economy.
