Russia Accuses Ukraine’s SBU of Plotting Provocations Against Azerbaijan

Must read

The Russian Foreign Ministry has accused Ukraine’s Security Service (SBU) of planning provocations aimed at damaging relations between Moscow and Baku.

Foreign Ministry spokesperson Maria Zakharova stated during a briefing that Russia allegedly has intelligence indicating that Ukrainian operatives are preparing sabotage acts involving Russian defectors. These individuals are reportedly being paid to carry out attacks under the Russian flag targeting Azerbaijani citizens, institutions, and cultural sites.

According to Zakharova, the goal is to fabricate an image of Russian aggression against Azerbaijan and to spread these narratives through Azerbaijani, Turkish, and European media.
