Azerbaijani representative Latif Aliyev won a gold medal at the European Championship for weightlifters under 15, held in Madrid, Spain.
Competing in the 71 kg weight category, the athlete lifted 108 kg in the snatch, securing the gold medal.

In the clean and jerk, Latif lifted 129 kg over his head. Thus, with a total of 237 kg in both movements, our athlete also won the silver medal at the European Championship.
